Forecast Coffee Group is looking to add bakers to our Wilder Bakery team. Wilder is a bakery brand that makes cookies, loaves, and other bakery products for the Forecast Coffee Group locations and wholesale partners. The Wilder team consists of talented bakers who strive for high quality and speed. If these are traits you possess, we would love to hear from you.

We want to add hardworking, experienced bakers that can fit in seamlessly to our team. We are growing at a fast rate and want to add people to our team that are excited about that growth.

The role of Baker is an essential part of our business. This person is passionate about the food and beverage industry and reflects this in their role.

Our bakers are capable of following set recipes and delivering a high volume of baking at a consistently high standard and have confidence and awareness in the kitchen. They also have a strong work ethic, ability to stay calm under pressure and understand the importance of supporting their workmates. They are punctual, responsible and have a positive attitude toward their work and colleagues. They live the Forecast and Wilder Core Values and strive to apply these to all duties within their role.

Bakery employees report to the Wilder Food & Beverage Manager.

This job posting is open to full time and part time applicants. However, our preference is for a team member that can work 32-40 hours per week.


Job description:

Adhering to company policy as stated in the Employee Handbook, at all times

Following procedures and completing tasks as set by the manager and company policies

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times

Adhering to Food Safe and Work Safe policies and requirements

Setting up kitchen area, equipment and all stations in preparation for shift

Clean up and pack down of kitchen area, equipment and all stations at end of shift

Large scale baking production, following set recipes and production schedule

Order fulfilment for current & future store locations

Work unsupervised and manage time appropriately

Ability to lift up to 50lb

Restocking and maintaining inventory levels

Receiving and rotating product


Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 1 year previous bakery experience

Capable of working independently

FoodSafe Level 1 is required

You need to be legally able to work in Canada, and live locally

Compensation

$19.05 - $19.85 per hour
